I plan to photograph national parks, historic and abandoned sites as much as possible as an ongoing project. Call this a first impression series. Sandy Hook is beautiful. An afternoon at a place like this is simply not enough if you’re a photographer. I was able to get just a slice of it. Want to go back for more.
In this post, you’ll see a section of North Beach (surfers catch waves here during summer), shy off of Gunnison Beach (the only legal nude beach in NJ); And no, I didn’t. Missed out on Battery Potter and Proving Ground but did not Battery Granger. I love visiting places during off season. Because they stop posing for camera.
