Founder of Ben’s Chili Bowl, Ben Ali, passed away. I had the great pleasure of eating at the restaurant during my DC trip for Prez Inauguration. I would never stand in line for 2 hours to eat at any restaurant. Never. This is the only place I made the exception. Why? Because. Was it worth battling the long line and the January cold ? Every minute and penny of it.
